The Case

Europe’s leading car rental company, Europcar, unveiled a new brand position, “Moving your way.” Working with Hamburg agency Faktor 3 AG, Europcar wanted to leverage user-generated social media content to spread their new message.

To help, Europcar ran a social media contest. Fans shares pictures using the hashtag #MovingMyWay and a hashtag for their dream car. Any post with more than 25 likes was submitted to a jury, where top posters were given a free day in the dream ride of their choice.

The Approach

TwineSocial implementation on for the #MovingMyWay campaign showcased user-generated social media content embedded within the Europcar website. With TwineSocial’s Collections and Rules Routing Europcar easily segmented posts by each car type and even a collection for all posts that made the 25 likes cut. Viewers could share posts directly from the Europcar hub.

The Outcome

The #MovingMyWay contest generated thousands of submissions, helping spread Europcar's new brand position.
